Samsung just a few hours ago confirmed that the official Android 4.3 update for its popular smartphone Galaxy S3 had to be suspended.
It is a decision that is taken after it was found that there were several issues with devices updated to 4.3 in the UK, where users began reporting serious errors after updating their phones , including failure to unlock the device and overall system instability.
In a statement Samsung also mentioned the following list of errors that plagued owners of updated Galaxy S3.
- Delay when waking the device ( sometimes up to several minutes)
- Huge battery consumption
- Problems with music playback via Bluetooth in cars
- Device freezes as soon a call is received (Black screen issue)
- Poor RAM management (very difficult to multitask)
- Wi-Fi issues
Interesting fact is that that Samsung quietly withdrew updating the U.S. version of Galaxy S4 with Android 4.3 as it is also facing very similar problem.
